Gas Leak Detector
Description
CO gas is one of the harmful gases in underground mines which, if not identified, will cause harmful damage to the health of miners.
The sensor consists of two platinum electrodes on either side of an electrolyte medium that ions are responsible for transporting ions. The electrolyte is usually sulfuric acid or distilled water. CO gas in the vicinity of one of the electrodes reacts with water vapor in the air. The result of this oxidation is the conversion of CO gas to CO2 gas and the entry of positive hydrogen ions into the electrolyte. These positive ions react with oxygen in the air near the other electrode and are converted back to water vapor. The reactions cause a very weak electric current (about 1 to 40 Nano ampere PPM of CO concentration) in the circuit between the two electrodes, which is the basis for measuring the CO concentration in these sensors. The energy required for this device is supplied by both electricity and a battery. This device includes a board, audio and visual alarm system, and WI-FI transmitter.
Purpose
This sensor automatically alerts if the gas level exceeds the standard level by means of an audible alarm and lights embedded in the sensor. The subject should do the necessary work.
As the amount of gas increases, the power of the ventilation system intelligently increases according to the written algorithm to reduce the amount of gas.
User Problem
According to the mentioned cases, the CO gas detection sensor has been one of the applied sensors to increase the safety of people, which reduces the risks associated with human health.
User Value
This sensor creates a lot of value in relieving the pain points of the drilling forces and the drivers and operators of the devices. They constantly feel that they are short of breath due to the toxic gas CO
Requirement Details
After preparing the initial parts mentioned above, with the help of electronics experts, assemble the final sensor and with the help of programming engineers, connect the sensor using the Internet of Things to the centrally designed system to receive the required data. From the sensor, process the information. After the construction of the sensor and its preparation for intelligent monitoring of mines, according to the expertise and opinion of mining engineers, sensors will be installed in susceptible areas.
This sensor is installed on the walls and roof of the tunnel in susceptible places and if this gas is detected, it will sound an alarm in the form of a beep and announce it to the central system with a Wi-Fi transmitter.
